Ahh Bra Review

One thing that has always frustrated me about being a tall and somewhat busty woman is bra shopping. I can almost certainly say that for the better part of my life I was mistakenly wearing the wrong bra size.

I believe that nearly every store I went into I was always measured and told the wrong size. Half of the dressing room attendants would tell me one size, while the other half told me another size, and a few attendants told me I was in between sizes. No matter how hard I tried it just wasn’t working out for me. And of coarse all brands are different, so if I might be lucky enough to find a bra that fits, and one that is actually comfortable, I’m probably best off to stick with that brand. The downside to that, of course, is that I am not left with many options…

I don’t know if I have ever found a bra that was totally comfortable. Either they dig in, the straps wouldn’t stay on my shoulders, they need constant readjusting, or I would “bust out”. In all honesty, I am not a Skinny Minnie that fits into a B cup, so bra shopping was the worst.

Lucky for me, not too long ago I was stuck at home flipping through the channels and stumbled upon the infomercial for a new bra. The Ahh Bra by Rhonda Shear. Although I found the “transformations” to be a little on the rude and offensive side, practically insulting the person as they do the before and after, and I found the testimonials to be cheesy while the ladies proudly wore their Ahh Bra, straps nearly fully exposed under a skimpy strappy  top , the bra still looked good enough to try out for myself. It certainly looked comfortable, and it didn’t appear to dig in the ladies sides, removing the bulging effect and creating a smoother appearance on the back and sides.

I think the #1 appeal to the Ahh Bra, that sucked me in was the slogan “Shop Your Top”. No more sizing dilemmas! All I had to do was pick the size that most closely matched my shirt size. How easy is that!? I didn’t even have to go through the painstaking process of trying it on! And even better than that, they have sizes ranging from XS- XXXL. With such a nice size range, there is most certainly an Ahh Bra for anyone.

Some of the other great benefits of the Ahh Bra is no more fussing with clasps or hooks, as well as no scratchy tags, its perfectly seamless, reduces bulging, and the Ahh bra wont pill or fade. And here’s another one of my favorite benefits, its machine washable and it wont shrink!

For nearly half my life, I think I have ALWAYS worn underwire bras. What a pain it was to take care of them properly. Washing them on special wash cycles, or having to use a Bra Baby to prevent damage in the wash, or how about the countless times an old bra of mine broke. The underwire would break through the seam, and jab me in the side or my chest, or when the underwire just snapped right in the middle. I would have never imagined how happy, and comfortable I would be in my first underwire free bra.

Just last week, I happened to be in our local Walmart, and there I saw it, right on the As Seen On Tv Shelf. There was my new Ahh Bra! You could not have imagined how ecstatic I was! I grabbed one almost instantly, paid the cashier, then rushed home to try it on.

It was exactly like how I thought it would be. Full support, smooth, soft, no bulges, no scratchy tags, it breathed, and it was even so comfortable I slept in it! What a dream!? This is indeed easily falling into my top ten favorite As Seen On TV products list.

Absolutely awful! Waste of money! Doesn't do anything it claims. Might be okay for a A/B cup but anyone else, forget it! Atrocious!
